At the center of all the great fun on Harmony of the Seas is the Boardwalk, an amusement park at sea.

Harmony Of The Seas Boardwalk

Harmony of the Seas isn’t just one of the largest ships at sea, she’s a veritable fun ship chock-full of adventure. On this Oasis Class ship, there’s never a dull moment, with more fun and games onboard than on any other cruise ship. On Deck 6 the fun reaches its peak on the Boardwalk, a neighborhood designed as a haven for adventure seekers of all ages. Try a grip at rock climbing, go for a spin on the old-fashioned carousel, or take in a gravity-defying show spectacular at the AquaTheater.

“The ship is the ‘best of the best’ of what our guests love most about Royal Caribbean, combined with new and thrilling experiences never before found in one place,” said Michael Bayley.

Harmony Of The Seas Carousel

The Carousel. Boardwalk’s centerpiece is its colorful carousel, straight out of a storybook. Intricately handcrafted, the custom-made amusement ride for the young and young at heart was inspired by seaside boardwalk attractions of yesteryear. One spin and kids will love it for the fun, while adults will be transported back to an easy era when breezy promenades at shoreside parks were a much-anticipated weekend ritual.

The carousel showcases carved poplar-wood zebras, giraffes, and lions, alongside a variety of hand-painted horses and even a crowned frog prince. The frame features a red and golden yellow facade, turn-of-the-century scenery panels, and, for a 21st-century touch, a menagerie of LED lights that sparkle day and night.

After a whirl on Boardwalk’s carousel, the trip down memory lane continues. Stroll through the neighborhood passing classic carnival games, an arcade hall, and the retro diner vibes at Johnny Rockets and The Boardwalk Dog House. As guests meander through the revelry, it’s impossible not to glance upwards at the impressive sight of six rows of stateroom balconies towering above. These accommodations, the Boardwalk View Staterooms, offer a panoramic view of the buzzing, colorful neighborhood below.

Boardwalk’s trip back in time ends with some of Harmony of the Seas’ more modern attractions: the grand exit for Ultimate Abyss and the rock climbing walls. Adrenaline junkies can try their hand at one of the two climbing contraptions that flank the ship’s aft. Harmony of the Seas is the first ship to feature the Luckey Climber play area. The innovative playground is part art and part jungle gym and is surrounded by a net, designed for kids to jump on and explore.

Dive Into The AquaTheater
When the sun sets on a day spent winning prizes at the Boardwalk Arcade, it’s time to take in the show at Harmony of the Seas’ AquaTheater. Overlooked by the bank of balconies, the 600-seat amphitheater has stunning views of the surrounding seascape.

World-class athletes, acrobats, and daredevils entertain and delight with jaw-dropping high dives and flips that have to be seen to be believed. The theater boasts one of the largest and deepest pools at sea, with shows that seamlessly synchronize the aerial extravaganza with fountain and light shows. Features include The Fine Line and Hideaway Heist.

A journey from the extreme to the extraordinary, The Fine Line, is the AquaTheater redefined. Designed as a 360-degree, immersive show, revelers will wish they had eyes in the back of their heads to take in all the action. Hideaway Heist, on the other hand, melds hilarious gags with daredevil acrobatics. The action-packed comedy show jumps into the world of a swanky 1950’s holiday resort where an undercover detective, playing the part of a high-rolling vacationer, pursues a crafty burglar trying to run off with the jewels.

There are six AquaTheater suites that are as breathtaking as the stunning feats they overlook. The suites feature private wraparound balconies, outdoor oceanfront dining areas for six, and an outdoor bar for entertaining. These suites accommodate up to eight guests and have two bedrooms and two full baths.
