With a commitment to excellence that shows on every plate, all of the dining options serve up flavors to savor, from the main dining room, a cruise line classic with a dedicated wait staff for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, to the celebrity-chef specialty restaurants, to the five complimentary, full-service venues: American Icon Grill, Chic, Silk, The Grande, and Coastal Kitchen.

American Icon Grill is a take on the classic American road trip, pulling together regional favorites into one comfort-style menu. Chic serves the height of contemporary cuisine for the modern palate. Silk is an exotic destination where the flavors of the Far East spice up a Pan-Asian menu. Every night is formal night at The Grande, with a menu of classic dishes that pay homage to a bygone era of elegance when dinner was a ritual worth dressing for. And Coastal Kitchen, a concept created exclusively for suite guests, fuses Mediterranean influences with the riches of California’s bountiful farmlands.



Chef Spotlight

The five main restaurants are part of the larger landscape of dining options that includes outlets from award-winning chefs Jamie Oliver and Michael Schwartz. Experience the casual, homey atmosphere of Michael’s Genuine Pub on Quantum Class ships, the first gastropubs at sea, or Schwartz’s seasonal menus for 150 Central Park on Allure of the Seas and Oasis of the Seas. It’s an intimate, upscale dining experience with customized wine pairings.

Chef Jamie Oliver may be one of Britain’s most famous food exports, but it’s his love of Italian cooking that drives the menu at Jamie’s Italian. And it’s the laid-back vibe that has made it a family favorite. Handmade, homemade dishes that are known palate-pleasers include spaghetti vongole and the signature prawn linguine. And there’s a whole array of antipasti, small plates, a tempting selection of grills, and delectable can’t-miss desserts.

Royal Caribbean is revolutionizing cruise dining with the opportunity to decide how you feast. Dynamic Dining Classic offers the traditional experience where guests eat at the same time each night with the same wait staff and table companions throughout the cruise. Dynamic Dining Choice gives the option to pick and choose restaurants and dining times every day and night. Letting their appetites be their guides, guests can enjoy the five complimentary restaurants, the celebrity-chef venues, and specialty restaurants like Wonderland Imaginative Cuisine, a haven for multisensory surprises and gastro-innovations. It’s a feast for all the senses in a surreal setting. The culinary team took out all the stops for this venue, blending what is cutting-edge with well-known items and finishing with a little twist for a magical presentation. In Wonderland, guests choose their own element—Sun, Ice, Fire, Water, Earth, and Dreams—each of which comes with a selection of small or shareable items.

Johnny Rockets

The fresh, never-frozen, made-to-order hamburgers that have been a hit since 1986 made their way aboard Royal Caribbean cruises. The fifties-style retro decor takes guests back with a jukebox on every table.

Get ready for a mouthwatering menu of authentic and unexpected Mexican dishes such as Oaxacan red snapper ceviche, spicy chicken flautas, and chicken and roasted corn empanadas topped with a green mole and spicy peanut sauce. Complementing the culinary options is a curated menu of tequilas, mescals, and Mexican beers, as well as delicious sangrias and tableside-mixed margaritas. Special tequila flights offer a chance to sample plata, reposado, and anejo tequila varieties, or to savor the nuances of three unique reposados.

Coming to Harmony of the Seas, everything here is as its name suggests: mini. Savor individual portions including mini burgers and soups in shot glasses.

The cruise line’s hallmark restaurant now features a revamped menu that adds a contemporary flair to the traditional steakhouse menu. If you’ve got a yen for hot-rocks cooking and sushi, head to Izumi. Giovanni’s Table is perfect if you’re in the mood for authentic Italian fare that will transport you to the Tuscan coastline, while Portofino offers an elegant atmosphere with modern Italian creations.
