Harmony of the Seas: Entertainment Place
When the sun sets, the fun heats up with casino gambling, live music, nightclub, and main theater productions.
This neighborhood is as grand as its name implies. Entertainment Place is Harmony of the Seas’ contemporary nightclub district featuring signature after-dark spaces and intimate venues. Think upscale and exclusive Las Vegas venues with a South Beach flare.
The neighborhood delivers a variety of entertainment each night and provides guests with the opportunity to customize their evening experiences, tailoring options to suit their personal preferences and tastes.
Where else can you take in a Broadway-style show before trying your luck at Texas Hold’em and then cap it all off at the nightclub? There are even live music venues to boot, featuring jazz groups, rock cover bands, and the like.
Comedy aficionados can get a good belly laugh at the brand new nighttime hotspot, The Attic. Headline acts actively engage with the audience and there’s no telling what will happen as the show morphs from night to night for a customized performance each evening. After the show is over stick around as The Attic becomes a nightclub, and after hours lounge.

At the Royal Theater, Royal Caribbean Productions is pulling out all the stops. For this season they amassed one of the largest casting calls for two original stage productions: Columbus, The Musical! and Grease.
“We are taking entertainment to the next level on Harmony of the Seas with more captivating, immersive experiences than ever before,” said Nick Weir, vice president of entertainment at Royal Caribbean International. “The level of innovation that has gone into our latest lineup is truly mind-blowing, and Harmony guests can expect the unexpected with our biggest, most awe-inspiring stage yet.”
On Harmony of the Seas, Royal Caribbean Productions has put together an all-new, never-before-seen stage version of the movie musical Grease that features a soundtrack with crowd favorite tunes like “Summer Nights,” “Greased Lightnin’,” “Look at Me, I’m Sandra Dee,” “Born to Hand-Jive,” “Beauty School Dropout,” and more.
“Grease is a show that speaks to families of all ages and is sure to get guests out of their seats, singing and dancing, which is why we made the unprecedented decision to have it debut on Harmony of the Seas and premiere it on Independence of the Seas,” said Weir. “As the first cruise line to bring Broadway performances onboard its ships, it’s only fitting that we would also be the first to bring Grease to the hospitality industry.”
To spearhead the show, Royal Caribbean recruited actor, singer, and loyal cruise-goer Carlos PenaVega. As part of his partnership, he led Grease-inspired activities on Harmony of the Seas during inaugural events in Southampton, England, like teaching guests the hand jive, judging dance competitions, and giving exclusive performances of “Greased Lightnin’.”
Columbus, The Musical!
This original show is based on the fictional story of Marvin Columbus, Christopher Columbus’ down-on-his-luck cousin. Banished from his father’s kingdom, Marvin sets sail on a madcap voyage of discovery in the hopes of claiming his own place in history.
A breathtaking and revolutionary set design, transporting the audience across the Atlantic to the Caribbean, awes the entire family. Adults will thoroughly enjoy the smart, nuanced humor that balances out this original Royal Caribbean Productions show.
The onboard entertainment extends to Studio B, home to two new ice shows. Guests will watch as the surface of the ice rink in Studio B transforms before their very eyes, creating a backdrop of ultra-high definition video, which blends fantasy with reality. The result is a dazzling new canvas on which artists demonstrate their unbelievable skills. Grab a seat as world-class skaters from all across the globe delight with jumps, spins, and tricks.
1887, an original Royal Caribbean production, deals with love and adventure in Paris on February 14, 1887, at the height of Jules Verne’s career. The protagonists, Juliet and Tempus, begin their journey on the frozen River Seine before traversing multiple dimensions to discover the wonders of the world and of the heart.
